Brook & Whittle acquires ILS and Wizard Labels

Brook and Whittle has announced the signing of definitive agreements to acquire Innovative Labeling Solutions, Inc. (ILS) and Wizard Labels LLC in partnership with founders, Jay Dollries, Steve Wolf and Steve Smith. Brook & Whittle is majority-owned by private equity firm Snow Phipps Group, LLC. The closing of the acquisitions is expected to occur within 30 days.

Wiley Roots Raises $5,500 to Fight COVID-19, Partners with ILS

On May 1, 2020, Wiley Roots released Howl at the Moon Together, a blood orange hard seltzer in 16oz four-packs, to raise money to supply local organizations with needed sanitizer and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including gloves and masks. By partnering with Innovative Labeling Solutions, Source of Nature, Propagate Lab, and the distribution arm of WeldWerks Brewing Company, Wiley Roots was able reduce the cost of production, allowing the brewery to raise as much money as possible from the sale of the hard seltzer.

ILS Partner, Label Traxx, completes integration with HP PrintOS job costing tool

Label Traxx, a management information software (MIS) provider for the label converting industry, has completed integration with HP PrintOS Print Beat Jobs API. Label Traxx job costing analysis can now capture information from HP Indigo presses to include in costing.
